Showcase Your Kidney Care Team’s Collaboration at SCM27! The National Kidney Foundation (NKF) invites you to highlight the power of teamwork in kidney care.
Submit a proposal for the opportunity to present your team’s collaborative work at the 2027 NKF Spring Clinical Meetings (SCM27) in Orlando, Florida.
Submission Deadline: June 27, 2026
Proposal Criteria
- Demonstrate collaboration between two or more professions within the kidney care team
- Highlight how interprofessional collaboration has improved team performance or patient outcomes
- Include a patient perspective when possible (proposals including a patient as part of the team will receive special consideration)
Review, Eligibility & Selection
- All proposals will be reviewed by the SCM Program Committee. The committee reserves the right to recommend revisions to accepted proposals. Selected presenters will be notified in Fall 2026.
- All invited faculty must meet accreditation eligibility requirements.
- Individuals employed by ineligible companies—such as pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or other commercial healthcare companies that produce or market healthcare products used by patients—are not permitted to serve as faculty or planners for accredited education activities.
Presenter Benefits
NKF-approved faculty invited to present at SCM27 will receive:
- Complimentary conference registration
- Airfare reimbursement (up to $500)
- One night of hotel accommodation
- Presentation length will be approximately 15–20 minutes.
